H&R FEST is more than just a music festival – it’s a celebration of culture, community, and a shared passion for the arts. Giving all profits to two charities that are close to our hearts, Mountbatten House and FLAG Bedford.

What are we all about?

This is the second H&Rfest at Silkstead, in memory of Hilary Venn and Ros Hunnisett-Graham, who both had a passion for music, entertainment and a lively party. Both were taken from us at an untimely age, but live on in our hearts.

We are a family friendly music festival put on by like-minded people that want to put on a show to raise money to give back to amazing causes & supporting local artists from all genres to get up on stage and perform.

Our Chosen charities

Mountbatten House – The work of Mountbatten Hampshire is to promote and provide good care and support for people who are living with, affected by or curious about death, dying and bereavement. Mountbatten House were superb in looking after Hilary during her last days.

FLAG Bedford – is a user-led social group for adults with a physical or learning disability and/or sensory impairment, and their friends, carers and volunteers, who live in the Bedford area. Their aim is to combat social isolation, boost confidence and promote independence for disable adults in the Bedford area. Ros was instrumental in setting up the Bedford Flag charity.
